This open session has two related purposes. First, to showcase ongoing studies based on user-generated data by researchers from DIRSI (Latin America), RIA (Africa) and LIRNEasia (South Asia), three leading ICT4D research networks. Second, to engage researchers, policymakers and practitioners in an honest discussion about how we gather, analyze and present evidence in ICT4D. The session will seek an interactive format, with short presentations followed by discussions with the audience (including online participation).
