Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Immigrant youth play a major role in helping their families, friends, and others in their communities gather, create, share, and curate information needed to survive and prosper, often through creative uses of ICT.  This open conversation addresses a critical social phenomenon—how immigrant and refugee youth internationally are serving as “ICT wayfarers” and “information mediaries” in low resource settings, including refugee camps, villages and cities, and how they can be better supported through design.
