ICTD 2015

This round table will introduce the Seed Alliance as a platform to support Internet development in the global south through a variety of funding mechanism, capacity building strategies and networking opportunities. The organizers will share information about their regional programs operating in Africa (FIRE), Latin American and the Caribbean (FRIDA) and Asia Pacific (ISIF Asia). A group of recipients from the regional funds will share about their projects and the challenges they face to bring about positive change to their communities through ICTs. Lessons learned from this strategic alliance and the realities faced by organizations working on Internet development on the field will be discussed.
