Delivering health service through ICT in rural communities- Stories from Bangladesh - Workshop

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

With 1 doctor for 2500 patients, where most doctors are concentrated in urban hubs while 70% of the country resides in rural communities, access to healthcare in Bangladesh is a significant challenge. Efforts are already underway to leverage the country’s extensive mobile network coverage to connect rural patients to urban doctors in a manner that allows sound diagnosis and treatment. This session is an opportunity to learn about these efforts and ask “What’s next?”
